Royal Regina Rifles Battlefield Tour 2014
In honour of the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, members of the Regimental Association are organizing a tour of the NW Europe battlefields of the Regina Rifles in summer 2014. It will cover all of the major sites tracking the journey of the Regiment from Normandy in June 1944 to the area of Aurich, Germany in May 1945. The tour will be led by Colonel David Patterson, operator of Fields of Fire Tours (www.foftours.com) and Past President of the Canadian Battlefields Foundation (http://www.cbf-fccb.ca/). He is a highly experienced guide with a focus on Canadian battlefields. Merit Travel in Kingston, Ontario is handling travel arrangements.
